The Durham Fair Runs this Weekend
The Durham Fair which began on September 23, continues this weekend, until Sunday the 26th.
The fair takes place in Durham, Connecticut, and is considered to be one of the largest agricultural fairs in all of New England. It always takes place in the last week of September, and has been held since 1915.
Some of the events and entertainment at the fair include the demolition derby, the rodeo, performances by Aaron Tippin, and REO Speedwagon plus lots more.
REO Speedwagon will be performing on Saturday on the main stage at 7:30 PM. There are hundreds of events taking place over the course of the Durham Fair.
On Sunday, the U.S. Coast Guard Band will be performing in front of a large audience.
Tickets to the fair can be purchased at the gate. For adults, the price is $15 for a one day ticket, and for Seniors they will run $13. A three-day ticket may be purchased for only $32 and a four-day ticket for $40.
Parking is $5.00 per car, and a shuttle can be taken from the parking lot to the fair free of charge.
