NTR and Rajamouli – a combination that set the box-office fire three times so far. All the movies - Student No.1, Simhadri and Yamadonga - were hits. NTR fans go frenzy when their favorite star teams up with this top director and they are hoping that they team up again. Well, to happen that, they have to wait for few more years. But they can rejoice with the fact that they are coming together for a commercial ad film. Rajamouli is directing a commercial with NTR as celebrity model. NTR is the brand ambassador for Emami’s Navaratna Talcum powder and the commercial is currently being shot by Rajamouli for a Mumbai based production house.

As  the news earlier that Emami Company has signed NTR as its brand ambassador for Andhra Pradesh market. The star has already shot for the company’s another brand – Zandu Balm with Malaika Arora Khan. This talcum powder is second brand.

"Maerupu" is the movie in the making with young hero Ramcharan Tej playing as hero in Dharani's direction. At the time of its launch at Hyderabad, megastar Chiranjeevi gave clap on the films lead-pair Ramcharan and Kajal Agrawal. But, mid way Kajal walked over from the movie. It was said that Goan beauty Ileana has replaced Kajal. recently, Ileana made an announcement to the media that she isn't acting in "Maerupu". Kajal isn't there, Ileana too says she isn't in, then who is the heroine co-starring Ramcharan in "Maerupu", is the million dollar question that's dogging the audience now.

Going by the films he has accepted to do, this new year is very prosperous and the coming year will be more brighter for yuvasamrat Nagarjuna. The movies he's doing at present are "Rajanna", his own production under home baner Annapurna Studios in Vijayendra Prasad's direction and another in R R Movie Makers banner "Damarukam" produced by successful producer Venkat. It's said, apart from these, director Surender Reddy, who in the past have directed "Athanokkade, Atithi, Ashok and Kick" movies, has a beautiful and befitting story ready for Nagarjuna. News is that Nagarjuna has agreed do work  as hero in this film also. A costly set depicting Telangana in 1940s has been erected for the filming of "Rajanna" and Nagarjuna will appear in 4 movies next year.

Fans of Telugu cinema hero young tiger junior NTR have designed a new calendar for the year 2011 only with NTR stills from Telugu movies. The same was released by the hero in a function on the eve of new year. A cake was cut on this occasion by NTR and the hero shared it with his fans. His ardent fans Narasimha Rao, Jeevan, Prathap Reddy, Kumar Yadav, Narasaiah, Immanuel and others attended the function. Young hero Sumanth has a glorious family background. He is nata samrat Akkineni Nageswara Rao's grandson (daughter's son) and yuva samrat Akkineni Nagarjuna's nephew. Since both of them are from different communities, first elders from both sides were convinced and Bunny-Sneha engagement took place recently at Novotel Hotel in a grand manner. After that she acted as heroine with Vishnuvardhan in "Vasthadu Naa Raju" in Hemanth Madhukar's direction. She is also accepting offers in Tamil films. News is that, she bagged a chance to play as one of the heroines opposite junior NTR in a forthcoming movie. This flick will be directed by Surender Reddy, who in the past has directed movies like "athanokkade, Ashok, Atithi, Kick", and the flick will be produced by "Chhatrapathi" fame BVSN Prasad.

In the past a hit movie named "Dhhee" was made with Vishnuvardhan as hero and Genelia as heroine and Srihari playing an importent role in Srinu Vytla's direction. A dialogue of Bramhanandam, who played as Chary in the movie, 'nannu involve cheyyoddu mastaru' has become very popular among the audience. At present Srinu Vytla, who is busy with Mahesh Babu starrer "Dukudu" is envisaging to make the sequel of "Dhhee". It's said that he is making preparations to start this movie, once "Dukudu" gets completed. Other particulars like its producer, hero and heroine are yet to be known.

 
With the music of the movie is topping the chartbusters, producer Nagababu is planning to release the movie with maximum number of prints and in highest number of theatres.

Anushka starrer Arundhati, as we all know, was a big hit in Andhra Pradesh. Its dubbed version in Tamil and Malayalam were successes too. Anushka till then was known for her glamorous roles. It was with this film, that she laid serious claim to the number one position in Telugu cinema.
Now, Gemini Film Circuit is planning to remake the film in Hindi. It is learnt that after considering several top actresses for the role of ‘Arundhati’ including Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, the makers have zeroed in on Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai. The film, trade analysts say, has the potential to give a fillip to the career of Aishwarya Rai who hasn’t enjoyed considerable commercial successes in recent times.
