"Gaayam-2" is the movie in the making under Karta Creations banner in Ramgopal Varma's presentation with Jagapathi Babu and Vimala Raman playing the lead roles. Pravin Sri is being introduced with this film as director. The film's shooting including songs has been completed and its post production works are in progress. Music maestro Iliyaraja has composed 5 songs for this movie. The flick will be released either in the end of September or in first week of December. Speaking about the film, Jagapathi Babu said that there won't be any similarity in its narration with old "Gaayam". This movie will come with a fresh look and he considers it a re-birth as an actor.
