Rajkumar Hirani, who was a successful ad filmmaking before turning to cinema with blockbusters like Munnabhai and 3 Idiots, is returning to his roots once again.
The filmmaker says he loves the challenge of telling a story in 60 seconds. He has now started a separate ad division to direct ad films, headed by Sanjeev Kishinchandani under the banner of Canvas films.
Hirani, who directed Kareena Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in his previous ad films, said: "I have really enjoyed telling a story in 60 seconds. Entire process has been very exciting, rejuvenating and with Canvas Films, my team and I are just exploring our love for moving image."
