Producer S. Vijayabhaskara Reddy said in a press conference on Thursday that they had registered the title Kaleja in the Film Chamber of Commerce on October 20th, 2009 and had also announced the launch of the film but was shocked to see the title with Mahesh's name in English as a prefix on the posters. Immediately they lodged a complaint in the Producers Council and the Chamber. If need arises we will also take legal action and will go on a hunger strike in front of the chamber. "Mahesh Babu has always kept himself away from controversies. We strongly feel that he has been misled on the issue," he added. Director CH Subba Reddy was also present at the press conference.
