Drunken Actress Hits Divider
A film artiste, Shahanaz, resident of Abids was caught driving in an inebriated condition near HACA Bhavan in front of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Saturday early morning. The police booked a case for drunken driving against her and fined her. They also found used beer bottles from the car. They said the artiste has acted in several Telugu films including Ninnu Premisthunna. The Saifabad sub-inspector, Mr K. Shankar, said, "at around 6 am, Shahanaz was driving under the influence of alcohol. She hit the divider while trying to avoid another car. No person was injured."
