After a long gap director Ram Gopal Varma is directing a straight Telugu film with Sunil titled "Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam". This movie was launched on Friday morning (August 27, 2010) in the hands of Sridevi and Nagarjuna at Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad. Sridevi graced this ceremony and she sounded the clapboard.
 

Nagarjuna, K Raghavendra Rao, Srinu Vytla, Gunashekar,young heroes like Naga Chaitanya, Sumanth, Rana, and the film’s hero Sunil and heroine Colors Swathi and several producers and directors graced the occasion.
 
The film titled ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam- Appalaraju’ will star Sunil in the lead role. Kiran Kumar Koneru is producing it under Shreya Productions banner. Regular shooting of the film will start from September 1.
