Answering to the questions of media personnel, Ramgopal varma given a clear statement that the movie is only inspired from reality and is completely fictional story. When the statement is given by him a journalist asked RGV, then why he had meet the family of one of the characters if it’s a fictional story, Varma smiled and replied he always do it for publicity and the characters of the story were only an inspiration.

Earlier at the launch of the movie Raktha Charithra RGV said that the story of Suri and Paritala Ravi had a scope of drama which fascinated him to make a movie.

Another interesting thing is that RGV had sung a song in Telugu version. The music director of the movie is Mani Sharma
